Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which the American Heart Association recommends eating twice a week.
Cooking the fish and vegetables together on one sheet pan means less time at the sink and more time at the table.
Tips for Success
- Thicker fillets may need 2 to 3 extra minutes.
- Green beans or broccolini work well in place of asparagus.

Instructions
Heat the oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
Toss the asparagus with 1 tablespoon oil and a pinch of salt and spread it on the pan.
Whisk the remaining oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, Dijon, dill, parsley, salt and pepper.
Nestle the salmon among the asparagus, skin side down. Spoon the herb mixture over the fish and top with lemon slices.
Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F on an instant-read thermometer.
Spoon the pan juices over the top and serve right away.
